About Hindsight Consulting Historians
Dr Fay Woodhouse established Hindsight Consulting Historians in 2005 and since then has been commissioned to work in the university, public and private sectors. Fay is an accomplished historian, researcher and writer with a strong background in Australian history specialising in Victorian history, heritage and biography. Fay is frequently assisted by Victorian researchers and collaborates with colleagues specialising in archaeology, architecture, Aboriginal history, healthcare and the welfare sector when required. She is an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Historical Studies, University of Melbourne.
Fay has presented history in a range of places utilizing various media. She is the author of web-based histories, heritage studies, significance assessments and commissioned histories.
History is all around us – it’s being made every day and can be found in all sorts of places. Investigating and recording our history can tell us the unique story of our times and that of our forebears.
